HEATHE creates overwhelming sonic rituals that blur the lines between post-metal, gospel, free jazz, and hand-played electronics. Known for their trance-inducing, ceremonial live performances, the six-piece ensemble builds massive walls of sound using strings, horns, homemade percussion, and layered vocals, from autotuned hooks to tortured screams. Their second full-length Control Your Soul's Desire For Freedom (2025) unfolds like an apocalyptic fever dream, moving through depressive pop, polyrhythmic chaos, and dissonant repetition. Based in Denmark and active since 2016, HEATHE has appeared at Roskilde Festival, Colossal Weekend, and Northern Winter Beat, with new international activity underway across Europe and China in 2026.
