Little Stream is a Stockholm-based Americana rock group with their roots in Swedish mining towns north of the Arctic Circle. Drawing inspiration from a diverse spectrum of musical influences ranging from the introspective melodies of singer-songwriters like Phoebe Bridgers and Ray LaMontagne to the sonic landscapes of bands such as Big Thief and Bon Iver infused with a sprinkle of romantic '90s nostalgia. At the heart of Little Stream's music lies profound reflections on the past, tinged with a sense of longing. Their lyrics delve into the essence of nostalgia, reflecting on communities either entirely erased or drastically transformed by the expanding mines: the yearning for physical spaces to anchor childhood memories. The name Little Stream comes from the rivers and creeks that are the lifeblood of the northern part of Sweden where the band has its roots.
