Oulun_KeskustaFI

Oulun_Keskusta is a trio of two saxophones and a drum set. Founded in 2023, the band plays "PÄTS" (punk & jazz), while also drawing influence from electronic dance music and lousy jokes. So far, the band has released two EPs: Putket (villit) and Pihlajakatu.

The members of Oulun_Keskusta, Elmeri Karjalainen (baritone saxophone), Nestori Määttänen (tenor saxophone), and Oula Lipponen (drums), met in Oulu. They began busking in the city centre, which provided the inspiration for the band’s name. In addition to playing on streets and beaches, Oulun_Keskusta has performed at several clubs, patios, and festivals.
