SunnivaFI

Formed in Turku, Finland, in 2016, Sunniva is a four-piece sludge/post-metal band whose members have previously played in Ravage Ritual, The Feral Young, and Tryer. With a sound that channels the heaviness of Neurosis, the atmosphere of Amenra, and the cosmic dread of Dark Buddha Rising, the band has created their own unique space within the realms of death doom, sludge, and post-metal.

Their debut album Hypostasis was released on vinyl and CD by Finnish label Svart Records. The album was co-released by Violence In The Veins from Spain and minoRobscuR from Germany. Finnish label Iron Corpse also released a cassette version of the album.
